If any of you Woohooers are on Pension Credit or if you are on Income Support and have a child under 5 living with you or a disability premium (not dla or attendance allowance) then you are entitled to a credit of £120 next winter from your energy supplier. You need to contact whoever you pay your electricity bill to and they will deal with your application. Hope this helps with those struggling with their fuel bills smile

If you’re in receipt pension credit you may also be eligible for the Warm Home Discount, however you don’t need to apply as the Department for Work and Pensions will contact you directly towards the end of 2011. For 2011/12 this will be households in receipt of the guarantee element of pension credit.
