Price Rise On Prizes -- Not A Happy Bunny.

Now, first off I will start by saying, yes, this site is free so nobody has the right to complain, etc etc.

However... technically it isn't free. It takes electricity to power your computer, and time, a LOT of time spent sitting here to gather enough stars to even win anything, especially now. Time I could be using to go do something else to earn the money for a chocolate hamper or voucher in probably around 0.00001% of the time. But I don't, I chose this site because the prices were fair, and it was fun as well. I have now lost all motivation to play, and would like an option to give my stars to somebody else. This price rise is absolutely disgusting, to rise them a little bit is bad enough, but this much? Just wow. There wasn't even information beforehand to say, "hey, it's recommended to cash your stars in now, since the prices are going to sky rocket and you won't be able to afford anything for months, maybe a year+."

At least make stars easier to get or something to balance it out, since lots of people cannot afford anything now, especially some people who never win. I feel like I have completely wasted months and months of playing on here, to save up a weak 100 something stars. It motivated me knowing I could afford something decent soon, but not now, so thanks a bunch.

we all have our own opinions and i agree with some points made and disagree with some others, however, i certainly do not find anybody being petty. i think most of us have come onto the site today and seen the changes and some of us have made a knee-jerk reaction. we are all entitled to an opinion

Hi there,

Everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion, however, I would like to point out that any costs you incur by playing any game online is not the responsibility of the game developer or hosting website.

We don't charge a supermarket for the petrol costs or bus fare to get there, let's just remember that Woohoo is free, yes we have had to make some unpopular decisions, but when you are left with very little choice, something has to give somewhere.

We are currently looking at smaller prizes for the Woohoo Bingo Shop, and although there are no guarantees that these will be brought in, we are still working with suppliers to bring all players the very best that we can in the way of prizes.

Please continue to visit our sponsors who enable us to keep Woohoo 100% free.

Penny: Of course it matters that they've put the prices up. It's disheartening and lots of people are most likely going to leave the site, besides, not everyone is here for friends, look at how many people play and never ever speak in chat.

It was actually not the smartest move to put prices up. If they were giving away too many prizes, then just reduce the amount of gold people can obtain. Put a cap on how many gold a player can obtain per week or day. So you don't have some people winning constantly and others getting diddly squat. It solves two problems like that. And it would mean for everybody, that a prize would take x amount of time to get, no matter how lucky or unlucky you are. It would be fairer, and let some people like me still keep their motivation to play, and of course, save money. Another solution would be to get more sponsors to afford the give aways, as much as I hate listening to Jess and Scott telling me how great Crown Bingo is every 5 minutes, I'd much rather put up with more ads if it means prizes stayed the same.

One more idea would be bring in a donation system, since a lot of sites have this option, you'd be surprised at how many people do actually donate. Especially if they got perks such as more points or x free games a day if it means donating just a pound.

I just think it's really unfair not to announce this at least a month in advance.
