Please Read This!! Danger In A Bra?

I was playing my fave bingo while i had a load in the washing machine last nite. Nothing much to wash, just my smalls and dressing gown, as the washing machine neared the end of it's cycle I logged off and went through to empty it before going to bed, , as i got to the kitchen door there was a funny whirring noise then an almighty smash, my first thought was that the Glass i'd left on the drainer had smashed with the vibration from the machine. when i walked into the kitchen there was glass everywhere!!!!! It wasnt the Glass from the drainer, it was still there where I'd left it but the door of the washing machine had very little glass left in it. I was shocked as I had no Idea what could have caused it to break like that. I soon found out! When I took the clothes out apart from the millions of pieces of glass that had gone into them All that was there was the metal "bone" that goes into the bra, it must've been against the glass somehow and the force of the last spin has made the metal "bone"scratch the glass till it broke. I was lucky that I was'nt actually in the kitchen when it happened as the amount of glass that had been scattered around the place could have easily caused severe injury to my legs and lower body.
Lying in bed after I had the most horriffic thought, what if it had happened to one of you young mums with toddlers running round? It does'nt bear thinking about!!

Please, if you wash your "boned " bra's in your machine put it in a " delicates" bag, or a pillow case, better still, give them a handwash. Or make sure you dont go in the kitchen while the washer is on spin. xx

i ve had them horrible wirey things in bras break my washing machine were it got in the drum thought that was bad another glad u were ok
