HOW I MAKE MY BREAD PUDDING

ok a few of you have asked me to put this in forum. There is no proper recipe for it just everyone has their own way of making it and this is how I make mine (My old nan taught me).

use aprox 1 loaf of bread (makes large one) soaked in water, pour in a cup of tea (optional) and i soak it over night

Drain and squeeze bread out and put in a big bowl then add to it a bag of sultanas, ground nutmeg, cinemon, sugar white and can also use brown.
Then with your bare hands mix the whole lot together tastin along the way to see if you need to put more sugar or nutmeg in (to your own taste).
if you think it is too runny then you can add a little flower to bind a little but remember it is meant to be quite sloppy.
Pour into baking tin or as i use the disposable silver tins (saves on washing up)
Put in middle of the oven on gas mark number 3 or 4 (not sure on electric settings) and cook untill u think ready. I usually prod with normal knife and if clean wen u pull it out then it is cooked lol
when cooked sprinkle top with white sugar.

()I save all my crusts and freeze them untill i have enough to make a bread pudding save wasting any.

Any questions i am in sunshine pls come n ask me xxxxx
