it took about 2 n a half weeks from me sending app to getting award letter through theres only a few stores you can go to to collect the laptop, i went to comet and took it out of the store with me but i do know that with phones4u they make u wait for it to be delivered so if u have a comet its best to go there, u will get a booklet of participating stores xsmile

Hi
We got it to
3 Of our kids got it we recieved ours on friday and got laptop and other things that day we got £528 also
It took about 4 weeks from them getting the form to us getting the card . you get letter then week later the id number then mabe another week the card mabe longer they told us on the phone alot of people are applying so taking alot longer
But to be honest the laptop is pritty pants dont even go near the pc that some companys do the spec is about 6 years old if you were to buy the laptop yourself it would cost you bout 199 we spent 2 days trying to work out the settings on it took a day to load the internet aswell lol but for free and for kids its all good you can get a good printer for 29.99 if you get it with laptop should be 49.99 my kids love to print there things so we got it to save ours lol

This is well worth it if your kids are entitled

sorry to hear about that 5littleones what make model and what did u get on it? our laptop is top of the range with windows 7 proffesional it does have net intelligence installed onto it to stop u going on adult based sites etc but i assure u there IS a way round that we are really pleased with what we got it was deffinatly worth going for and also now if our son has any projects he needs to do via the internet for school he can do it no probs my idea on all this is that it is well worth going for we got our moneys worth and it did not take half as long as yours did hun, we got the pre payment card and pin about 2weeks after sending the application off then the award letter a few days after that smile

Ours is the only one you can get
But for the same price you can get 4gig and 300 gig hard drive ours is only 1 gig and 300 hard drive its good enough for kids but even as comet said to us they could do better for the price but thats what they were sent to give out
my kids are 10 / 9 / 7 and its brill for them we got around the web access in the end but they even blocked cbbc / cbeebies lol
But like i said brill for kids well worth it
