I play alot of music on my pc, but don't have sounds turn on on this site, but would be a great idea to be able to turn sounds off the ads in between

Hi all,
The ads played before each game are from our sponsors. These videos help to keep Woohoo Bingo 100% free for everyone.
Without these videos, and without sponsors, we would be unable to stay free. Surely listening to a few seconds ad before a game well and truly makes up for the fact that noone needs to spend any money ever?

I understand why the ads are there, but the sound is very annoying especailly as they always seem so much louder than anything else goin on on my computer at the same time.

I agree with this, but for the added reason. I suffer from PTSD, and am easily startled by loud noises. Seriously, my friends have seen me jump at the sound of the electric meter clicking over at 12:30 am. Sometimes, I minimise the game window to get on with coursework, but leave the sound on so I can listen to music while I work, or so I can hear if I get an email, only to get startled by unreasonably loud adverts. It's not the fact they exist that bothers me, but the sheer volume of them.

Bump. I made a thread about this long ago. The videos are fine it's just the sound. It's extremely annoying to hear the same ones over and over, especially when trying to listen to music or do something else that requires sound so you can't just mute your computer. I say when you click mute on the game, it should mute ads as well.

Or even if they were just a bit quieter - I agree with the person who said they make them jump. I've got fibro, and I like having the sound on sometimes, and don't even mind hearing the ads, but when they come in soooo loud it can be a bit too much. Is there any way the volume could just be toned down a bit maybe?
