I have every respect for all players and Cms.However I experienced this morning something that botheres me in as much as are we in a democrated country or what.I am aware that some conversations are not to everyones taste and sometimes the Cm steps and has to stop it.This is however if it is crude offensive or sick.Not if it is a conversation that is a normal topic but may not suit someone else.I am also awaere that some topics that we may find not to close to home are in fact to close to home to others and they feel uncomfortable with it. In these cases I believe the player who isnt comfortable with any conversation should PC the Cm state their reasons and it should then be up to the CM to act as she or he feels is approriate.Not for one player to request the conversation stops and it is..stone dead...as if we have committed a henious crime....It is as unfair for any player to listen to something they feel uncomfortabke with ...as it is just as unfair for the players who happened to be engaging in the siad conversation..I think this subject need looking into and maybe a rule set up if a player is uncomfortable then PC the Cm as I have stated and let the Cm decide if their reasons are acceptable or unacceptable as our conversations maybe.I want to also state it doesnt matter who started this conversation this morning ..I am not speaking on behalf of them or for them.This is my own opinion....and one I feel strongly about.

i tend 2 agree with u huni 2 many pees got 2 much 2 say sometimes thats how the arguments start all they have 2 do is dont read chat or go other room

i know there are peeps who find some conversations uncomfortable, but there are also a lot of peeps with health issues and if it makes them feel better to talk about it it cant b a bad thing, peeps dont always wanna go into pc cos then they are missing out on the game, if i see something i dont like i just ignore it.

I agree library we are all different and have different interests. When the conversation is about something that doesnt interest me i ignore it.

I have to totally agree with this also. We all talk about different things at different times, we are all different people, from different places and different backgrounds. We all have one thing in common, we love playing bingo, the chat is a bonus. There are rules that are in place, and get followed. I totally disagree with one person choosing what the topic of anyones conversations should be. If i don't like something that people are talking about i choose not to take part in the conversation. After all we are on a grown up site, being grown ups

I tend not to get into deep discussions and if i see something I don`t like, I try to ignore it. I understand that some are not able to do this and feel they must express their opinion, but I believe it is up to the individual to make their feelings felt, or not.
Lets all get on with playing bingo because, at the end of the day, that`s what we`re here for.
