Big Inflation On Prizes

How come there is such a big inflation on the stars for the prizes....I was happy to be playing for Amazon vouchers as this in my view was a good offer....200 stars for £10 thats really good but I have just looked and its nearly doubled that.....350 stars for £10.,...thats nearly a 75% inflation....will this ever change back to 200 gold or will it stay at 350 gold....and how come such a big increase....i know the site has to be funded some how but wow what a BIG increase!!!

i enjoy chatting and having a laugh with the other players but i also enjoy winning stars ... i dont win often and i dont win much ... so it took quite a while to collect enough stars for any of the prizes but as its free i didnt complain ... these new prices in the shop make it even harder to get any prizes
I work and so cant get on as often as some players but i know that once ive got enough stars for 1 voucher its going to be hard to find the enthusiasm to carry on playing ...it would probably take me nearly a year to get a voucher .... shame coz i liked being part of the woohoo family :-(
