Amazon Voucher Expiry

Amazon Voucher Expiry

Hello,

I saw WooHoo bingo mentioned on MSE (Martin Lewis money saving expert) forums and joined as people thought it was a good site.

I'm posting this to make people aware of a problem I've encountered, so it doesn't happen to you.

I redeemed my gold stars for an Amazon voucher at the end of March, I received a £10 gift certificate from Amazon which stated that it expired in a years time (you have a year to add the certificate to your account, not just use it). I saw this and left the voucher until I was going to use it (I realise now I should have added it straight away).

Please be aware that the terms and conditions of this site say you have 60 days to add the Amazon gift certificate to your account, if you don't use it WooHoo will cancel the voucher (even though Amazon say it's valid for a year to be added) and it will become deactivated and you lose your £10 Amazon gift. For me the expiry date on the voucher (a year) was much more easily seen than the 60 day period found in the long list of T&Cs.

So if you purchase an Amazon voucher add it to your Amazon account soon and don't wait and lose it like I did.

I've suggested to WooHoo bingo they write that the Amazon voucher will expire in 60 days with it in the shop. Did you read through all the terms and conditions, or was it just me who didn't?

Hope this helps someone smile
